Favorite world coin eh? (This thread brings the Canadian out in me)

Speaking of Canadian...

It has to be my Canadian Bank Token! Love this thing!
Means a lot to me, got it from my dad, who got it from his grandpa in 1991.

 

For the most part I've been a US coin collector, but I'm beginning to grab some world coins. Since modern US coins are repugnant to me and if my budget doesn't allow for exceptional older US coins, I'll locate some world coins that meet my taste and price (a lot of world coins seem to be under-appreciated really).

Right now, this world coin is my favorite!

 

Favorite world coin of the day

I only bought one coin at the coin show this weekend. It is my favorite world coin of the day. It is a 1915 silver 10 Centavos from Portugal.

I like it, but the shadows are another reason why I like the NGC pronged slab.

Besides my avatar photo I have only 2 other world coins that appeal to me aesthetically. The first was the stupidest purchase I ever made , but it is still a pretty coin & the 2nd is just plain beautiful.

This is another one of my favourite coin designs: The Chile Volcano coinage, depicting the column of Liberty, and a volcano. The country is dotted with volcanoes all along its 4000 km length.

It was issued in 1 Peso, 2 Reales, 1 Real and 1/2 Real denominations.

These are the 1 and 1/2 real coins.
