:hug:I won my first auction on heritage today, a sweet looking PL Morgan! At least i think i won lol i did have the highest bid at the close. I am assuming i will get an invoice in about 24 hours. I don't own any PL Morgans that are in plastic so i am a little pumped. Here is a pic from heritage.[IMG] [IMG]

So my question is to those of you who have experience buying from heritage. Anything i should beware of? Obviously it is a little different than fleabay, (on a positive note i am guessing).

They will let you know the total amount of your purchase (winning bid amount, juice (buyer's premium), tax (if applicable), shipping and insurance). After your payment has been confirmed (charge to your credit card has gone through, your check has cleared, etc.) they will ship your coin after which you will forever be on their e-mail and snail mail list.

Congrats. I never won anything from Heritage but I have from teletrade. The biggest thing was the buyers fee and the higher shipping costs.
I hope everything turns out great for you

Beware that Heritage does not require signature confirmation for low value items. You might come home one day to find your coin just sitting in your mailbox.

Congratulations and also beware that PL and DMPL Morgan Dollars are very addictive.

Nice coin. I use heritage a lot and never had a problem with them. Yep - I do get a lot of email from them, but not too bad.

Is that a good company? I'm naturally a little leery of big numiscorporation, but I'll looking to add to my collection

Heritage and teletrade both are ex Ellen resources for both info and getting quality new coins

Yep - very reputable company in my opinion. As a matter of fact depending on what you watch - some coins sold on heritage appear on ebay pretty quick at a 10 to 50 percent mark-up. Some sell pretty quick like that. One of the reasons to join heritage is to use their archives(same with teletrade, but I like heritage better) to look at prices and coins. I comparison shop as much as possible.

physics-fan3.14 You got any more of them.... prooflikes?

PL's in general are very addictive ;)

Heritage is a really good company, and they offer a tremendous selection of coins.

I'm not sure what the cut-off for "low value" is, but I definitely came home one day to find my PL half cent (not cheap!!!) sitting in my mailbox. Its a locked box at an apartment complex, so I guess its better than just sitting out by the road, but I was still shocked and alarmed to see they had left it there without a signature required. This is the only time they have done this though, and I've ordered from them several times.

Definitely a positive! You will get an invoice that includes S&H and there are several payment options. Not to worry ... but do check your mailbox every day. On lower-dollar (for them; and no disrespect meant) coins, I don't think they require a signature confirmation.
