Big enough for you guys? Should be able to see plenty, I'm pretty sure this is as good as it's gonna get for now, unless our buddy here goes out and buys a DSLR or something. ;)

Guess what, I love your link and example you posted. It saved me a gang of time. Thanks. Here is the copy of the link. I hope I did it right?? [IMG]
Opp's I must have missed a step because Ltrain's pictures can still be resized. What did I do wrong or better yet? What did I not do right?

There is something happening there but until you can get some pics without the distortion, it's still difficult to tell. Try to borrow a digital camera from a friend to get some close-ups with better lighting.

In the meantime, take a look at this one on coppercoins.com. Is it similar? You have the coin in hand so it would be easier for you to compare it.

Thanks and yes it does look like it. I'll try and get a picture with my digital camera as soon as I can unpack it since I'm in the process of moving at the time and not sure what box it's in.

The obverse of the coin is sunk in the holder so the scanner can't focus on it.
I'm still thinking the scanner is creating everything strange we are seeing.
Are you seeing this in hand with a loop?
