Somebody wanna explain to me how this coin with over 30+ individual nicks on the reverse alone received a MS67??? I understand the obverse toning is consistent of a MS69 but there has to be some common sense used when grading coins:rolling::rolling::rolling: http://coins.ha.com/common/view_item.php?Sale_No=210063&Lot_No=24081#Photo
IMO that dime has great luster, toning, and detail. I would give it a 65FT BTW PCGS came out with a new rule where they only will grade one side of the coin and in order to tell what what side it is, they will flip for it
Nicks on reverse? Toned on obverse only? Not being a fan of toning I'd crack it out, dip it in something, place in an Album and forget a possible MS-63 or 64.
All TPG are inconsistent with grading. Some get overgraded, Just is bound to happen, and a lot of coins get a toning bump.
