Need a second opinion 1864-L or just 1864

I picked this up the other day at a sale. At first glance I think it is a pointy bust 1864L. But never having had to judge one before, and looking back and forth at pics on the net, I've gotten a little snow-blind looking at it.

    Hoping for a second opinion.

    Thanks,
    -Bill

Thanks guys for all the replies. I have attached a closer pictures for the L area if that will help anyone to be sure. I think it is as clear as I am going to be able to do with my current equipment.

All in all it is a little beat up, but for a couple of bucks I didn't think i could go too wrong.

looks like the L, but without the L plainly showing there is no premium over the 64. Nice pick though.

You brought up a good point about the L not showing and premium of no more than G-4. I do remember reading that if there is no visable L at all not even a blob, the coin should be considered AG-3 and priced likewise. If the coin shows only a minor trace that an L was present it should get G-4 price. Does anyone else believe this is correct?

If you go by redbook I think it says "L must be showing" in other words even if the bust is right it isn't even considered to be an L if the L doesn't show, which usually means you have to be at F or better to see it, I cherry picked one because I recognized the point and the L is just barely visible and it is a F.
