I'm finding that unless half dimes are AU or better they are toned like this one.
Sort of a medium gray.
I see no reason they should tone any differently than anyother silver coin so I suspect an optical illusion because of its small size.

Maybe someone familiar with Capped Bust dimes can do a comparison.

Like any auction, store or show you can find bargains.
But you have to be patient.
Lots of stuff is overpriced.
Lots of people are overbidding.

Nice thing about Teletrade is that all items are slabbed PCGS or NGC.
At least all that I've looked at.
