One of my favorite Series of Small Size notes is the Series 1934C. Many of you know that it took me just over 4 years to collect the New York regular issue and Star Notes for this issue and that for the $20 denomination there are "old back" and "new back" varities. Since the completion of that set, $5 thru $50 due to no $100's being produced for New York, I set out on a Series 1934C Quest as well. Over the past year I have added a few notes to the set as I look for high quality notes and would like to one day have an entire set of 34C notes including Stars. Yes this will be a long drawn out quest that may never be completed, but I will try. It keeps me busy as well.

Today I ran across a very nice(PCGS 64PPQ) 34C Star out of the Chicago District at a really great $$$ and decided to add it the 34C collection. Hope you enjoy the note. Once I receive it I will post better images, these are from the seller. This note is from the former "Great Lakes Collection"

Very nice pick up! Congrats on the progress in your quest.

Also, the notes in the link are unbelieveable! I mean all those SNs... WOW! That is something special. Some really neat banks in there too. I'd never seen a Rhode Island bank note ($10) and I like the Lone Wolf OK bank note too. The quality of those notes are top notch. I keep seeing them brownish and discolored, torn, folded in every conceivable direction. It's refreshing to see notes of this caliber. Must be an incredible financial investment in these notes too! I shudder to think...

    Thanks guy's..for the nice words.
Urban....I thought about you when I found this. Had I already had one I would have alerted you to it. For some reason the 34C and 34D Issue stars are just plain hard to find in higher grades of late. Could be that folks are just hanging on to them..tucked away in collections of unknown locations.
The note was shipped today and I am going to PMG to see the current POP reports. If anyone has access to PCGS POP Reports I would appreciate the heads up. I wish they would list their POP reports free as PMG does.

So I just looked it up and PMG has (8) of these graded only 4 of them are 64 or above.
