Here is a pick of the one and only coin I bought today at the Long Beach show. First MS walking liberty I've ever owned. Just over half done with my dads birthyear set. Only bad thing about it I got home and noticed a scratch on the reverse from the TI-in united to the RI in pluribus....

I did a quick job with the pics so don't beat me up too bad. Also this holder is the worst I've ever seen looks like it was a certified pocket piece. Definately need some plastic cleaner

Thanks, I really like the walkers as well. Maybe after I finish the two sets I currently have going I will start on these.

    Nice coin.

  6. I like it! Maybe the scratch is actually on the holder? I see a lot of them on there. I need to get an MS-BU walker one day, the closest I have is a polished example, so that's really not close at all. I have two genuinely circulated examples and even worn they are still highly attractive coins!

Scratch or not, it's still a pretty coin. Is it a PCGS MS65?

I've always been on the lookout for a MS65-67 toner for my birth year (1947) but every time I find a nice one at auction, I get creamed by other bidders.

It is pcgs65 . I was looking for a 65 or 66 and only saw maybe three 65's, this one appearing to be the nicest.

I wish it was, but if you click on the picture to enlarge you can see the damage to the T in united. I have a couple rolls of circulated walkers I bought as bullion and I really like the way they look as well I will probably get the dansco and fill it up with these.

this picture is a better representation of what the coin looks like in hand. There is some light toning on the lower right of the obverse, but basically it is white.
