1943 S varieties

    Is one of these S marks inverted ?

    From what I can see it looks normal. As far as I know there is only one inverted cent in the lincoln cent series and thats 1946-S...

    What I was picking up in the tray was the bulb tail of the S .is very hard to see on the top pic. That is a bulb not a serif and I turned that date upside down. But I haven't found info on it yet. But in the tray with 6-7 other ones, it stood out.

    The top of the picture is most certainly inverted... the bottom one not so much... :)

    Straight Serifs were used in 1943-1944.
