Here's one of the coins that I am planning on submitting to NGC for grading.

besides enjoying the view, if anyone would like to predict a grade, I'd be happy to hear the opinions!

That's a sweet coin, did you have it for a while or stumble upon it? Also are all nickels that have FS worthy of being slabbed?

I've had it a few years. Not all FS nickels are worth slabbing. You have to look at the value raw vs. the value slabbed and determine for yourself.

I have a definite grade opinion on this coin, but I wanted to hear others first.

Is the rim irregular on the obverse around 6-7 o'clock or just look that way from lighting?

no that's the way the rim is. weird, isn't it?

    Okay, thanks. That is weird.

With that I will wager my guess: 65 5 FS

:eat: Now that makes me hungry for Jeff's. An easy 65, 5 steps?...

Does anybody think these small areas will keep it from getting Full Steps? For a;; I know, it could be part of the design. I've seen a million but never got beyond the date and mintmark.

65 I'd say and no FS.

Yea, thats why I put down 5 steps with a question mark...

But there are only 6 steps and that center mark breaks two of them, maybe 3.

Now I got fingerprints on my screen. Yes, there is only 3 steps, the 4th is broken. The 5? I had was for questioning the 5th step, but I counted wrong. oops...

Here is my five cents - from one of the worse CT grader at this time.

    MS65, 5 FS

Is there a die mark on the collar?

Appears to be bit of rim defect at the 6:00-7:00 region? If so, then maybe MS63/64 with details.
