1953 D Silver Lincoln. IT WAS REAL!!!

I've been waiting to see if bigd was going to update us as to the results of his auction,
but he's probably been busy deciding how to spend his recent windfall.
In case anyone wasn't watching, it ended up selling for $2,164.65

Thanks tfoth. Was going to come back for update but have not been on since auction ended. Just ended Friday Night and man what a suprise ya'll. I'm one of those that chase deer every season and never shoots one,,,one of those guys thats always waiting so someone else can go first only to lose out,,,,one of those guys that buys lottery tickets on occassion and never wins anything. (man,, everybody else atleast wins $2.00). So with my luck,,,I knew this had to be some bubblegum novelty item but with the help, comments and direction from ya'll,,,I finally took the right path., And man what a ride it was. A few years back I told my daughter my one numisists goal was to get my name in Coin world and I'll be damn pg 2. Just want to says thanks for all the inputs. Christmas is finally going to be good this year and I can continue searching. (Cuds lately) Ya'll have have the best holidays one could have. A Merry Christmas and a super awesome New Year.

Glad to hear someone got lucky!, I was hoppin on my so-called Brass Indian to be good but it wasnt, we will all keep the hunt goin though! Great to hear you blasted a Buck Speedy!, I miss S.C., I shot hundreds offem!!!!!!I was a custom Riflesmith for 15 years and they owned 2,000.00 acre hunt club!, got out of work and climbed-up a deer stand every day!!.Not here in this God forsaken Utah!!. :headbang:
