So far I have a Proof 1982 Washington half and a BU 1925 Stone Mountain half. :thumb:

The Stone Mountain is a great design and a good choice, I think. I have a 7070 that is pretty barren and have not contributed to it in years as I pursue certain series but I think you've made good choices.
So, is USC Southern Cal or South Carolina? Or somewhere else?

When I was doing my 7070 set I had the 1892 Columbian Half, then the 1992 Columbian Half (thought it was cool to have the 400th anniversary and the 500th anniversary together). I also used the 1918 Illinois half and an Oregon Half because those are really great designs.

    What state you from?
I thin the Texas one is a great design and like the Conn alot too.

I have an 1892 Columbian half in right now, and am planning on acquiring Lexington-Concord, Stone Mountain, and Long Island Tercentenary halves.

A Columbian and a 1982 Washington so far, I haven't decided what to round it out with.

SC, but the 1936 SC coin (profiling Columbia, SC) is a little boring. I love the Western US so I think I'll start looking for a nice Oregon Trail half. :)

I have intentionally built my 7070 to be within the grades of VF to AU with original, crusty coins. This makes finding the classic commems rather tough, but I have included the Columbian, Maine (my wife and I go to Maine quite a bit), Connecticut (my favorite commem) and Oregon.

I like the Texas for the old commemorative. It's one of my favorite designs and you can buy them pretty inexpensively.

I guess that's why you didn't respond to my comment about the smog affecting your judgement in another thread.

You should have put the 1893 Columbian Half in there as well :p

As for me, any one with a hole in it (at the 12 o'clock) position I can find I'll put in :)

I love the Texas design too, but I looked at mine yesterday and it seems to be spotting on the back:(
