I recently purchased this coin. I was wondering what you would garde it? It is not the cleanest coin but still apretty nice one. The N has some doubling as well. Any Ideas??

I'm not real good at these but I'm gonna say EF40.

Check the reverse closely though - that looks like it might be corrosion starting between 3 and 5 o'clock. Could just be the pic.

Yep! I really like these coins, they are all nice looking.
I would agree with Doug, about the coloration on the coin in the place indicated. It does look different in the picture.
As for grade, I don't even try and grade these.

Looks like it is dirt to me a little greenish. I tried to get a better pic.
    Thanks,
    Ben

    Hi,
Details are a VF-30+. Too much wear IMHO for an XF grade. Also, It appears to be pitted under a layer of thin corrosion. It also has the corrosion mentioned by others. Overall, a net grade of VF 20, maybe?
    Have Fun,

There appears to be a few spots of corrosion and some rim damage. The details are nice and it might be a good candidate for conservation. I would grade it XF details, but the other problems drop it down too much.
