That stupid coin show is on direct TV channel 223 selling CC morgans for stupid prices. It's giving me some really good laughs. Ice

Welcome to CoinTalk He may be a nice guy but his prices are way out of line, besides this thread is 5 years old.
He's now joined up with Barry at Art n Coin TV. Last night on the show, I saw another troubling sign and PCGS was involved. This has to do with selling labels. Facts as I know them: U.S. Mint brought 2K burnished ASE's to the Baltimore show to sell to the attendees These are the same coins being sold by the U.S. Mint on their website to anyone who wants one. PCGS was offering to grade them at the show with a special label: First Strike and "Baltimore" on the label This is where it gets troubling, they labeled the coins "SP", not PF. Of course, Barry and Jimmy were playing up the rarity factor. They even went so far as to loosely compare its rarity to some Zerbe Morgan Dollar Proofs. They were taking the opportunity to sell these at a the low, low, low, low price of $119.00 each for 70's. I don't begrudge the TPG's for playing the label game in offering different label backgrounds for coins, but I don't care for FS or Early Releases and I certainly don't like this new SP designation for the very same coins they've been designating as MS/PF coins for years.
I am sure he is a nice guy but most salesmen are. He is full of it on the air. They try and act like a SP designation on a label makes the coin more rare. It is a piece of paper from a printer. Saying there is a population of 547 is stretching credulity at best and outright deception at worst. The other coin channel (Coin Vault) was doing the same thing with NGC label that said "USMA". They implied that if you didn't pay $140 (with shipping) for a coin worth half that you were somehow unpatriotic. They are all scammers and carpetbaggers.
As @bearze34 said, I'm sure he is a nice guy. He seems that way on TV. What I don't like is when they stretch the truth to the point of breaking....
