Just picked up this note at the auction today, pretty happy with it but I am a noob with currency. Does not have any folds, but appears to have some slight wrinkles, upper right hand corner has a small bend. Paid $15 for it, how did I do? Any sense of the value?

I don't know anything about paper, but I'd sure buy that any day of the week for $15.

Kind of what I figured as well, started at $25 and no one bid, down to $15 and no one else bid but me :) I figured worst case I am out max of $5 :)

you did good, that note could fetch $25 in better economic times
I just checked my copy of the guide book of US paper money, 34,770.768 printed,
    and valued at $20 VF-20 $100 Unc 63.Too bad it's not a star * note, that's $700 in Unc 63

Thanks for the info, a star would have been sweet!!! Is that 34 million printed for the series in total, or 34 million Richmond 1934C?

You did good for $15. Very common note but still, looks bright and crisp. Yes, if it was a star in Extra fine it might bring $100. Hanging a value using the multitude of "price books" out there almost always brings false hope. I'd say $15 in VF35, $20 in XF45 and $35 (max) in CU64. If it was GEM65 and slabbed, $50. MO...

The Series 1934C is one of my favorite Small Size Notes...nice pick up at $15.
Now you will be inclined to finish the Set? Including stars?

Get's a little pricey, but worth it. :)
