Anyone else go to the Holiday Inn today for the Norwich, Connecticut coin show? I have been twice before. It's supposed to be a 5th Sunday show only and in the months that have 5 Sundays. It was listed in Numismatic News as being today. Not! Nobody there. Did they move to another location or just cancel the show?
Well it's all freeway driving at 65-75 mph plus so about an hour wasted round trip. It really wasn't wasted. Instead the g/f and I went down to the Niantic, Old Lyme shore and the mouth of the Connecticut river. Then went to the Essex steamtrain so the day wasn't wasted. But this is the first time [for me] a show listed in Numismatic News didn't happen. I e-mailed the promoter Fred and let's see if he answers.
