Heritage coin website. if you have not been there you should check them out. I do not work for them and I am not really trying to promote them for profit or anything, I am just saying the info on pops, price, etc is great. The imaging is some of the best on the web and I could spend all day droolling over their high dollar coins. prices are too high but on the auctions you can sometimes pick up a deal. There service is great too. I really am sold on them.

Heritage is my first stop for research on a coin, both for the quality of the imaging and the record of sale prices.

Okay stop. Do NOT look at anything until you go get your drool bucket, then go all the way to the bottom of the page and look at the 1907 $ Saint Wire rims, high relief etc, it is a huge image. I just wish I had a spare $8 Mil to spend on it, unfortunately my Saints are much more plebian in nature.

Ah....who wants an old gold coin??....noe me...I just got to see a proof 3 cent piece at the shop today....man did I want that....but then under better looking power I saw some carbon spots and other than that...the price of $600 kept me from it.

If you call them you can talk to a living person not a recording. They are helpful.

    I called once...talked to a live person after about 5 min...maybe less.
They took care of of what I needed to know and was nice.

    It was nickel....1884....

Looks like someone is wanting the coin more than me....took it up to about $10 from what the last one sold for alittle over a month ago....
Oh well....maybe I'll outbid them yet.

I'm not much of a judge, but for Jefferson nickels, I'm finding a much better stock and quality items on Teletrade. Heritage seems to poo poo the modern coins, and nickels are my thing :)
