Sent in 4 old slab jefferson war nickels because I thought they had a chance at FS. I was sure 2 were and the other 2 had a chance but could go either way. Well, sadly only one came back FS. But at least I have more matching in the new holders. Funny thing is they emailed me my pics and the first pics I got were of a UHR MS70! I told them if they wanted to send me that coin they could but I still wanted my jeffersons! NGC pics aren't what I thought they would be, not worth the $3 IMO. I was thinking they would have a closeup of the coin, but they don't. Well, back into the registry set they go. Here's the NGC Pics.

NGC Pic's look like scans to me...
Not worth $3 by a long shot!
Very nice coins, and totally laughing out loud on the UHR thing lol

Thanks, glad you liked them, I am going to send the whole lot off to get professional pics done. Yea, when I got the email with the images I could see the thumbnail and the brown label on it, and the coin looked odd but I couldn't tell what it was, I was thinking, crappolla, there's something wrong with my coin. Then I opened it and I was really confused for about 30 seconds because I was just looking at UHRs on another site.

Very nice Jeffersons. I too thought they offered detailed coin pictures vs. a "scan" of the slab.

I kinda like the "scans." Makes all the nickels look prooflike :)

the pictures aren't that bad when you view full size.

    Anyway, they look good!
