Well with the new system the mint has in culling out the off center coins,since 2003,it's getting very rare to find them now,you see a ton of pre 2003 at ebay and around,lucky to see any after,i did have one 2003 now i feel like i sold it way to cheap was 70 percent off wif a date. :crying:
As far as I know all companies that wrap coins. The Mint told them that any coins found defective in their process should be returned to the Mint. If not, they can lose the contracts. -O)
After 2002, the mint greatly enhanced their quality control and procedures for catching errors before they even leave the mint. This tremendously reduced errors being found outside the mint.
Yeah it getting hard to find any errors!! I only collect errors from 1983 so I have tons to keep adding to my set.
yea i have noticed the mint has got a little tough there,next ones i find after 2003 ,think i will keep them awhile they allways turn up some where

Well I am trying to make a penny collection all off center. But after 2003 they are turely hard to find. I only have these dates which makes hard for me to try and complete it. 2003 2005 2006 2007 D 2009
