I just clicked on your youtube site, and I'm going right back to watch all of them. There are amazingly few coin videos on you tube. I've watched them all a million times. It's going to be great to see something new for a change. Good luck with you!!!

This is great; I was able to watch the first 2 parts and look forward to viewing the rest. You offer a non-mainstream perspective.

My only critique would be to refrain from the profanity...as there are many young numismatists that are interested in starting a coin collection and will view your videos for advice and tips.

Welcome to CoinTalk and thanks for taking the time contribute to the coin community.

I watched the coin 101 series and not bad start. Good idea and I applaud you for making that info available to new comers. I would be interested to see some of your collection and maybe how and why you chose certain coins for a given set. Nice start.

I hate to be the first critic to say it, but you are completely wrong with your facts. Coin Collecting 101 pt.1 2:30 states "Any coin prices in here are valid for 2009" and "Now some coin shops might not abide by that, but by Better Business Bureau law they have to abide by that".... Um No, these are only guides you are speaking of and they do not set any standard that any shop or person HAS to buy, sell, or trade at. I applaud your energy and wish to educate new coin collectors, but at least give them real information to work with and not fiction.

Advertising laws come into play when a business advertises merchandise at a certain price that they have to honor it, All the coins shops are not advertising the prices in your guides nor do they have to agree with your guides prices? Where did you get this information?

I have to admit Coin Collecting 101 pt.2, I watched and loved the hole thing! Outstanding on this part! Part 3 was good as well, don't take my original post the wrong way, price guides are great and assist you in figuring out an approx. value of what you have or even to know what the key dates are for different coins.
