Free ANA Membership

350 FREE ANA Memberships through TeleTrade.com

Anyone who missed out the last time can still get in on the FREE ANA memberships being offered through a promotion with TeleTrade.com.

Myself and several other CTers managed to get free one-year ANA memberships when this was offered in December 2009, as this thread can attest to.

Those of you who missed out or have friends that may be interested, pass the word. Looks like you have until April 7th to get one of the 350 free memberships they are giving away.

It is, has been very nice reading the Numismatist online and I've gotten all my submission info from NGC, NCS and PMG now that I'm an ANA member and can submit directly.

Cool; I signed up for this promotion too. I'm going to start lighting a fire under ANA if I don't get any communication by next week...waiting around for 2+ months to get processed is unacceptable in my book...free or not.

How long did it take to find out if you were selected as a winner?

I applied in late December 2009, on the 22nd or 23rd, and wrote an email to TeleTrade inquiring when I would find out if I got the free membership about 3 weeks later. TeleTrade told me I'd hear something by the end of January from ANA via mail. When I didn't I began writing to ANA in late January and in a matter of days received my ANA membership, they personally set up my online account and a few days later I received my membership materials in the mail. At that time I was already over a month into the one year membership without materials. The whole saga seems to have played out this way for the majority of the responders to this thread and can be traced over the course of events in my posts here. I highly encourage you to write to the ANA soon to inquire, it seems to give them the needed kick in the butt to get these memberships active, despite them balking how many new memberships they are trying to deal with at once.

I've already contacted ANA and TeleTrade to try and expedite the process

ANA told me that TeleTrade needs to send them the list of folks who qualified for the free membership and they do that every few weeks. So I contacted TeleTrade to ask them to send ANA the list, and they told me that they won't be sending the list until after the promotion (4/7/2010). They said it can take a few weeks after that to get everything processed. But I'm going to keep on them as the 3+ months it took many of you to get registered with ANA is ridiculous.

I left Teletrade a message saying i was inquiring, hoping to hear back tomorrow was they were closed when i called. if we call keep at it we should have our membership cards just before they expire

Did anyone hear back about the latest promotion yet?

 

I'll just throw in a positive plug for both ANA and Teletrade. I received my ANA membership card about a month ago. I live North of the border.

 

I, too, live across the border in Canada and a few weeks ago I received my ANA membership card. Today, I got my first issue of "The Numismatist".

The only glitch I had was that my Teletrade password was invalid and I had to contact them to get a new one.

 

I have not heard back. i have called twice, leaving my number both times.

 

They seemed to respond well to email when I have had questions of both ANA and TT, but don't expect any weekend customer service from them.

I'm glad to hear some folks are getting their memberships in hand! Congrats.

Just wanted to let you know i received my letter stating i was going to be giving the Free ANA One year Membership. It has been so long i had forgotten about it.

Now I just have to wait to hear from the ANA, and get my membership number. Anyone know how long that takes?
