he is a member on ebay who "polishes" coins and uses the grading service of NGSC and only will use only paymate not paypal, but if paymate doesnt work he requires a check. in his descript he covers his "grading system" so to speak and will not refund! but somehow he squeaks by ebay.... if you have further knowledge please let me know. if you are dealing with him now or plan too BEWARE! has promised me a refund out of the goodness of his heart because he wants to protect his 100% feedback reputation on ebay. has also promised extra coins for my troubles. it has been well over a month i have not seen either and he has a different excuse each time! any suggestions???????
After how you just described him, why did you bid on his auction in the first place? He has a no refund policy ... you are out what you spent. I hope it wasn't to much but this economy, anything is to much to lose. Lesson to take away from this is: READ the auction and if you agree with his terms and bid ..then you must respect that. If you don't ..walk away.
unfortunately i am describing him so well because it is after the fact, and what i posted is everything i have learned. i am hoping by posting here i can help someone else from making the same mistake. when it sounds to good to be true...it is! this was a lesson learned. thank you.
thank you! i wish i had found this site earlier on. i actually found cointalk when i was "reseaching" acascapital. looks like i wasn't the first and probably not the last.
I havent been scammed on Ebay yet (knock on wood) but I never buy from a dealer If he does'nt accept PayPal and offers no return policy. I know its still a leap of faith but those two rules have worked for me thusfar. I also like Empire Coins as a alternative to Ebay.
