Love that Hard Times Token Avatar. I have one with the same reverse.

What is the obverse on yours? Mine is the 'Substitute For Shinplasters'

I think Civil War and Hard Times Tokens are an under-rated area of numismatics. I don't hear a lot of people talk about them. I know those who do collect them are pretty die hard about them.

I only have one example of each (in my US type set) but I do like them and there certainly is a lot of history in them.
