Not so. They beat Apmex for one. Here are Provident's Shipping Policies and price list, plus they ship much quicker than some other bullion dealers in my experience.

    Their shipping charges 5.95
Thrifttheory charges 3.5 witha discount for every extra 1 bought. I'm going to have to go with the thrifttheory. If anything it looks like a 1 user owner and not a corporate place. Help the little people!

I don't really understand Thrift's shipping policy as it's written, but with Provident it depends on how much you are spending, seems that $5.95 covering any number of items up to $99 isn't bad from a bullion dealer. At the current price per ASE, you get about 5 coins for that shipping charge. This includes insurance and signature confirmation, which appears to be an additional fee from Thrifty. Depending on your form of payment to PM they do have surcharges for CC and PP but not for personal check, MO or bank wires.

If you use Thrifty, let us know how your experience goes.

Is it just me or does this 2000 ASE coin look wonky? It's a lower quality knock-off designed 'art round' like those from QSB. If this is what you are bidding on, you are not getting government issued American Silver Eagles and the dealer on Thrifty is shifty by not stating these are not the same thing. Buyer beware.

It is wonky.....take a look at the reverse. This is not a government issue. Shy away old fellow.

Agree!!!! Nothing more than 1oz of silver. This is not a government issued American Silver Eagle. With shipping, the price comes to $25-26. That is nearly $7 over spot right now and not worth it IMO. You can find better deals elsewhere.....unless you just really like the design and have to have it....then go for it.
