That's the one thing i hate about having Krause on disks. If i had the books I could measure the photo
Those are nice coins. And you are right, the dancing elephants are quite endearing. (They remind me of the dancing elephants in the Dumbo movie I had to watch 50 times when my kids were little!)
Are the dancing animals "gold" pennies? All your coins are nice, but the animals are my favorites. Fred and Ginger are especially cool.
I don't have my krause at my disposal at the present I do believe they tell you in the description the size of the coin so you shouldn't have to measure the picture
I like those. I'm a sucker for coins with animals and coins from countries that no longer exist, so that works in two ways for me.
This particular elephant coin was minted in 1943. At the Philadelphia Mint. In Brass. For a colony which had been officially surrendered to Germany. Does anyone else know of any other hexagonal coins minted by the U.S.? http://wemightneedthat.biz/1943Congo-2Franc-OBV.jpg http://wemightneedthat.biz/1943Congo-2Franc-REV.jpg
