Conder's book was sold out years ago. Your best bet to get one would probably be on ebay.

He is working on a second edition though. But if the last one was any indication, it may be a couple more years before it is released.

Domestic and Foreign Coins Manufactured by Mints of the United States 1793-1970

I just added a book to my collection today. The title is “Domestic and Foreign Coins Manufactured by Mints of the United States 1793-1970” It is from the US Government Printing Office & says “Department of the Treasury, Bureau of the Mint” on the front cover. Amongst all the data is information describing the diameter, weight, composition, and quantity of the coins minted for other governments.

I collect errors. Some of my off-metals are struck on foreign planchets and coins which were also made at the US mints. I have only had the book for about 2-hours & it is proving to be a great little reference book.

    Very best regards,
    Collect89
P.S. I don’t mean for you to include this obscure book into the list. I’m just sharing my NEWP.

Your all missing the greatest, most authoritive, accurate, complete, didicated and sincere coin information of all. EBAY. :goofer::):smile
Although not a book, can you beat that for realism?
So if you include the internet, not just paper type books, you would really have to include Google and Yahoo.
And just who doesn't trust Wikipedia?

I'm too afraid to use anything from Wikipedia because I don't trust its statements or even some of its "supposed" citations/sources. And that's because for other non-numismatic topics, I've seen too much opinion and non-supported statements in Wikipedia.
