I have these two coins from the Indian state of Hyderabad. I don't think that this one has a date, am I correct? India Hyderabad Dub 23mm x 12mm I read the date on this coin as AH 1316, am I correct? India Hyderabad Quarter Rupee 15mm Silver
I like the silver 1/4 rupee. The date does appear to be 1316, the 6 is only barely on the flan. I don't see a date on the dub, but I know nothing of that design.
According to my Krause Silver Quarter Rupee 2.794g, 0.818 silver, 0.0735 ASW Y# 15 AH 1316/32 or AH 1316/33 (1898), values are the same for either now the dub is probably Y# 12, 1 Paisa (dub), made of copper, AH1290(1873) to AH1313(1895), Shape round, rectangular, or irregular, many sizes and weights.
Billyray I would agree with you on the date of 1316 but if it's regnal year 32 or 33 where might that be on the coin? Vic
