I was told these coins were one of the best gold coins to own. 24K gold with a 99.99% purity. these coins are produced at the historic Austrian mint established in 1194. Price: $199.00 MS70 means that you buy the best there is.

That translates to almost $2k per ounce of gold.

    No thanks.

It's for the collection purpose. MS70 means it's more valuable.

Ehh... I'd rather have a high-grade vintage gold coin. Sure, you'll spend more money, but there will be a lot more demand for it.

No! What it means is that you paid a 67% premium for a little piece of paper that tells you it is one of the best there is. In all likelihood, they probably produced 500,000 of them and 250,000 of them are MS70.

If you laid out 250,000 of those coins with but one MS70 in the group, I'd challenge anyone to find it with the naked eye.

  7. They are very attractive bullion coins, and you should of course buy what you like. IMO, the best way to buy modern gold bullion is raw and as close to the spot price as possible. TC

John, there are some things I think that might benefit you in your adventure with ************. Grading.
The thing about MS70, is that it simply doesn't exist. Every coin made has marks, and a "perfect" coin just does not exist.
If you were to take a coin that a respectable grading company graded MS70, and compare it to an MS69 graded by the same company, you will NOT see a difference. Period. So by buying MS70, as ************ tells you to, you are paying extra money, for the same coin as I would buy for MS69 money... Or heck... MS68 money.
