haha, not sure. Just saw the south park where the voted him biggest d*^che in the universe. So thats who came to mind.
Time to bump this thread in case anybody wants to post their older US coins. Here are some more of mine: Massachusetts Cent 1788, and large cent 1802.
Yes - yours and eduard's are both nice. Those scans are too dark for me to tell, but I would try PCGS if it is problem free. As for shipping you can use priority(at least that is what I think they called it) and ship over night with plenty of insurance. I also believe it included signature. Can't remember. I have done this several times without a problem. Out of all the orders over all the years there has only been once the coins were lost - the first time I bought from a dealer. He was great and we worked through the insurance with the USPS.
Nice middle dates. I'll have to post my 1837 N-15 which is my nicest middle date when I swap them out at the bank.
I've got worse. It has good detail for a beat up coin. It's a rather common variety S-161 with lots of character as die breaks develope.
Since 2005. Still have a couple of common varieties I can not seem to find one that makes me happy or the prices do go crazy.
So after researching the grading process some more, am I to understand they wont even grade my 1804? It was unfortunately kept in a pvc flip and I fear the greenish tinges you see in this photo are a result of that. :headbang: Ugh.
Yes - PCGS will put in a genuine holder. NGC will put it in a details holder. I would probably send it to NCS.
Don't be. It's very hard to get early copper normally graded nowadays. They LOVE using the Genuine or Detail grading so they're not on the hook for the guarantee.
