1974-D Lincoln DDR ? or PMD ?

    The reverse of this cent looks like a partial set of steps got punched into the reverse at an angle to the original. I initially thought PMD until I saw the hint of the base of the right hand piller at the end of the 2nd strike ?

    It looks like Post mint damage to me.

    Hard to say, the xtra metal makes me wonder if it is PMD. Could of got bounced around during the ejection stage, but that would be PMD too. Its anyones guess...

    In the second picture, right above the "T" in Cent, it looks to be the same type of damage...but propagating is a different direction.

    (But it could just be the scratch on my glasses)..
