Woody?

    I didn't even know about these before reading this forum, but I'm going over some loose old lincolns and came across this. Is it a woody or just crusty from environmental damage?

    It appears to be old corrosion/porosity.

    damage.

    this is probably my only woody from when i used to collect lincolns.

    I would guess the second is a woody, but it is also corroded.

    I agree with RLM... The second coin looks like a corroded woody.
