George II farthing

    10 cent bin eh? nice find.... they only have a 25cent bin at my coin shop, but I always love it when one finds something special in there.... I once found a Russian 1913 10 kopek, and a Liberia 1960 silver 25cents.... but nothing as cool as that....
    It looks like that one is from Ireland too... with the harp reverse.... but its hard to tell for sure...

    can't go wrong at that price! pretty worn but still interesting. makes the face look soft, lol.

    Ah, yes... the date would definitely help, heh.

    Your post reminded me of something, and I was just now looking at two George III pennies I got in the 25cent bin a little while ago... in far worse shape than yours, but one has the harp reverse too.

    The George II farthing should be dated 1760. A one year type with 'V' in Georgivs.
