2009 dime

Man it has taken forever but I finally picked up two 2009 (P) dimes out of change from an interstate gas station near my home. At least a few have made it to South Georgia. :mouth: No nickels as of yet but the 2010 (p) pennies seem to be moving nicely as they are the only 2010 coinage we have seen in circulation.

What! wow, congrats. I still have yet to find either an 09 dime or nickel in my change.

 

Congrats! I still haven't found any nickels and dimes in circulation from 2009 or 2010. I did find all the 2009 cents, D of C quarter, and Harrison, Tyler, and Fillmore dollars. So far, Fillmore is my only 2010 coin from circulation. I was beginning to think that the mint hadn't released any 2009 dimes and nickels. It sounds like some have escaped.

 

I am up here closer to Atlanta and just found my second 2010 dime and 2 2009's last week. I did just score my second box of 2010 shield pennies though. I'm thinking those won't be hard to find for long...

 

I found two 2009P dimes last summer and my Dad just gave me one last week he found in change. No other 2009/2010 dimes or nickels found yet. TC

 

2009 Dimes

I have been searching for a P & D 2009 and within one week, I got a brand new 2009 P in a March of Dimes solicitation mailing and then ran across a 2009 D in a roll I searched at work. Talk about gettin' lucky. :smile
