Friendly FYI... not sure if the mods are aware of this... came across this by happenstance while doing some research...

It appears that CoinTalk threads/posts are being duplicated at this site...

I tried posting this in the FAQ subforum, but was unable to. I hope that this is the appropriate subforum.

It appears they are copying several different forums. Check the list at the bottom of the page.

there is a former member that has been banned here about 20 times that this would be right up his alley, He has also been know to set up sites where he has 20-30 screen names and talks to himself all day!

I read a few where I was the OP, and they didn't seem strange to me... there just weren't any replies to them...

Read some others. they are the thread title repeated 4 or 5 times. Nothing else.

Yep I did see that. Some kind of automatic site replication going on I suspect...

I suspect it is intended to generate visits, maybe after the google bot processes them, to generate views and keyclicks for advertising income. The more of us that go there probably kicks some coins into his bucket.

Funded by Google. I really wish Google would show better judgement with whom they allow to use their ads. If it wasn't for Google funding them, sites like that wouldn't exist.

grrrr, thats like posting images of stuff you don't own here, except you're now stealing other peoples thoughts as well as images.

Actually, Google does demote duplicate content in their search results. Copied content sites simply won't show up in results, although it might take a little while to work. Furthermore they also ban "made for Adsense" sites -- when they get around to catching them. So the guy might make a couple of bucks in the interim, but then he'll be shut out forever.

seems to me that its just someone who hacked this site (or maybe the owner of this site) looking to make some quick cash by advertising to new coin collectors going to that site thinking its legit. so many ads on there
