Many of you know that I'm working on a $1 type set of major design changes. Well, I picked up this from fleebay. I probably spent a little more for the grade, but I'm pleased to have this brown seal note to add to my collection. Next on my list is the yellow seal North Africa $1 note, and a 1918 Flying Eagle large size note. Here it is:
Good luck with you collection! I too collect $1 note type set. I just recently picked up a 1891 Design #86 Note # 351 (Edwin M.Stanton).Looking to add a 1862 Design #4 Note # 16 -17a (Salmon Chase) and 1869 Design #5 Note#18(George Washington).
Very cool. My oldest is the 1896 Educational, and I'll get the newer ones I'm missing before I go older. can you post your 1891 and 1862 notes.....PLEASE. I would love to see them.
