    These were issued as samples for promotion, the coin has nominal value, in this case a few cents. if you find someone that is collecting promotional samples they might pay a few dollars. I have a few of these that someone handed out at coin shows, nice conversation piece

    Yes, I understand that coin inside worth about its face value. My question was regarding the whole piece :)

    They seem to sell at the local show here for 8-10 dollars.

    Check out http://www.sampleslabs.com/ and you can figure out which variety it is then check completed auctions would be the most accurate determination of value
