p.s. the mods here are great. they are much of the reason this forum has taken off in the past few years.

Maybe you missed it BigTime, but these are in her personal collection. Charmy has never posted coins here that she bought for resale with her business.

Sorry Doug, just one last comment and I'm done. Leadfoot and Snaz, thank you for posting that. You said exactly what I wanted to say, only nicer. And to further set the record straight, I get pm offers to buy the coins I post here all the time and I turn them down because, as Leadfoot and Snaz both said, they are in my PERSONAL collection and not for sale (unless I find a better one down the road which is rare).

Again, my reputation speaks for itself, as apparently does yours.

Good God, Doug! You sure have been busy this week. Are you putting in for hazardous duty pay?

    lol I love it!!

Yep I love it here and the mods I think do a great job.
Also Thanks again Peter for putting up with us :D

As for Charmy it's true that those are for her collection as I asked about buying one of them and she would not let me as they are her's to keep :(
    (what a selfish dealer) ;)

As for MBT why keep pushing it if you like it here. I'm pretty sure when in the Marines you had to draw the line when told so by officers that you were going to far.

Anyway I'm going to a coin post now enough drama!! :p

I agree that the mods here do a great job. I have benn a member of differant forums over the years not dealing with coins and these are by far the best and farest I have seen. I looked around for a few weeks before joining a coin forum and watched and read and this one is imo the best out there.
As for Charmy and her newps, I have never seen here on the open forum trying to get people to buy her coins and the ones she was showing were from her own personal collection wich on her website are completely differant than the ones she sells. MBT's attack on her the other day was childish and wrong and had no merit to it whatsoever. I hope that whatever issues he has on the inside gets fixed. There is probably is a reason if every forum you go to boots you. I guess they all have it out to get you. It sounds like a conspiracy to me

I can turn this into something about coins ...

First off - Moderators, great job on the board. I know first hand it's a selfless non-paying service that you provide, and sometimes there is some bs to wade through. We should have a national internet moderator day to thank people like you.

Second - Penny Lady, everyone sees exactly what you are saying. the attacks last week (?) were uncalled for and only pointed the finger at the person raising a fuss. No need to give any of that a second thought, ever again. OK, now turning this into something about coins ...

I would like a full date set of Indian cents with rotated dies (normal issue, not proofs) between 90 and 180 degrees only. Here is what I have ... http://s904.photobucket.com/albums/ac245/RobsCoins/Indian Cents with Rotated Dies/
Penny Lady, keep your eyes peeled to fill my holes.

thank you and good day to all

Chris, as one who has very likely exasperated you to no end. I want to say that my never ending stupid questions are a way of gleaning knowledge. I thank you for your extreme patience, as I thank the moderators for being lenient. I apologize for requiring not only what it is, but why it is that way. And do want to thank you.

    Thanks

I believe the mods here are very even handed. Compare that to the PCGS forum, where you feel like you are in some kind of a rat lab psych experiment-- the bannings seem to be random and designed to instill fear of the unknown into the participants.

(and for anyone to imply that Charmy is spamming.... laughably ludicrous!)

Did you post a question, or PM it to a Moderator? Sometimes we miss things just like a normal person (I know, I'm far from normal! LOL), but if you have a question, feel free to ask and I'll do my best to answer it.

As unsightly as this is.... man it sure makes for fun reading. I love a good virtual bar fight... An occassional episode of Jerry Springer in the forum does add pizzaz as MBT points out... and the mods do a wonderful job of allowing the spat to play to a limited extent as long a no one draws blood. Anyway,,, fun thread, transparent issue imo... nice aside from the cointalk...good stuff ; )

i love the mods on here, especially GDJMSP. any time i've had a question, he has been way more than willing to help with an answer or point me in the right direction to get the answer myself. great job guys! :thumb::thumb:

Yeah,, GDJMSP must be an alias for Archy Bunker.... Doug is an excellent moderator, blunt, informative,,, a real meat and potato's guy..
De orc's pretty witty and a good read also......
