I went to the bank today to cash in my ones for hundreds. I asked the teller if she had any old hundreds and this is what she gave me. I don’t think I can keep them all so I’m looking for advice on keep or spend. The second to last note has bookends but does anyone really care for those?
I'd keep any that matched my collection and offer the rest to other folks that might need/want them. That's a very good find.
The 1950E NY note carries a small premium in VF cond. They only printed 3 districts in that series B,G,L,. Something to ponder.
The one that really sticks out is the "29935299" would consider that Kind of a fancy would probably bring a premium to the right person!
Honestly as a passionate paper money guy.......these notes remind me why I get so tired of looking at modern FRN's. Seems like when they went to small size currency really loses its luster with the exception of high denominations. Stars are always interesting.
That fifty looks nice and if you don't have one of that series and can afford it I would keep it. I have one I got from my bank after turning in half dollars. I was going to keep it but it had a crease and a stain on it so I decided to just put it with my spending cash.
I would keep them all if you can, or if you cant, sell them on the forum here or to other collectors. Nice finds!
