..Round 13 recap:

Finally !! ,, a little blood in the street.

ACG grades:
1897 - MS65 > everyone came close or nailed it. Really a much more attractively toned coin in hand... 64 or 65 in any of the big three holders also imo.
ANACS grades:
1901 - AU50 > a bit happy dipped imo.. but a lot of luster remaining on the reverse, with some nice toning here and there also. I'm guessing the luster on the reverse is what pushed it into the bottom of the AU land. In hand, it's an acceptable AU coin i think... pics don't show the luster well,, but you can see it.
1895O - EF40 > agressively graded imo... but I did check out heritage for similarly toned and graded morgans.... it's odd, but these natural gray toned coins do appear to be graded higher than whiter samples... maybe the even gray tone makes wear and remaining details harder to spot in pictures,, dunno... still agressive grade imo,, but I'll take it,,, I really like how this coin and the 1895S mate up in color, detail, wear, and look... a very natural pair that I'm happy with,,, regardless of grade.
PCI (gold label) grades:
1895S - EF40 - even more agressively graded. I guess the tpgs really liked to key date bump morgans when these two were graded way back when. A nice coin and mate for the 95O.... actually I'm looking to upgrade both of these to nice AU's at some point... anyone got any ?

HEY - I did bump them from my grade. I guess I should have then added a key date bump. That first coin (based off the pictures) I bumped once for ACG.
