This coin has a (raised line) die crack from the rim champfer to the back of the head comming out the otherside and stopping at the bottom of the U. The die is worn and I think this was the end of it. Are there any others like this? I guess, basicly, am I right?
I would be pretty sure that is not a die crack. If it were, it should go right through Abe's head. Since you say it is raised, I would say it is a die scratch. That could hit the high points on the die (low points on the coin) and could easily miss the entire head area (as a low point on the die).
