I know this is not the best capture, but down towards the bottom running through the year 2005 there seems to be a Die Crack. Would appreciate any thoughts. Thank you!
it could be, but then again, it could be a scratch. Need closer pictures. Thought: Is the mark raised? Or sunk into the coin?
I tried to resize, but not sure if it made any difference. It is hard to tell, but I think the scratch is raised. Is there a way of checking whether it is raised or not if you can't get a visual?
If the area in question is raised then its probably a die crack. If the area looks like its been dug in to then its a scratch. I havn't seen a WV quarter with a die crack like yours, but it sure does look like one...hya:
