Congrats to you old fellow. I have picked up a ton of these out of the pocket change when I was a kid but never got a good, solid, mark free, rust free, example till very recently.

Absolutely!! I have a couple and I remember seeing them in my pocket change when I was a kid. I was facinated back then so when I picked up coin collecting again a little over a year ago I had to get a couple myself. good deal!!

Steel cents are neat...when I was a kid they'd be in change by the handful. Mostly circulated black ones, but every now and then someone would release a few rolls and you'd get a shiny one. I taught a small boy scout troop the coin collecting merit badge a few months ago and for every boy that finishes the badge (they had to do some collecting outside of my class), I offered to give them a 1943 Steele Cent. I LOVE the smiles that I get when I give it to them.
There's no question about it. If you see a coin that grabs your attention and you can get it for less than $1 - it's a no brainer. At work, pop costs $1.25 and a Milky Way is $0.85. There are guys who buy a couple sodas and a bag of chips every day in that stupid machine...... ...... or....... ....... You could buy coins that are REALLY cool!!!
next up is a war nickel(i had a nice one, but i think my girlfriend put it into the junk silver:crying. i may try for a collection of ww2 coins. i already got a set of 1943 and 1941 german coins. it may be to tough right now, i don't have a great knowledge of world coins. i got to do my homework on them, before i start that collection.

Looks like a decent circulated example at a great price; I would bet you wouldn't be able to find much lower on the net. I've only got one decent 43 cent, the Philadelphia example. My Denver issue has some issues with rusting, and a friend recently gave me a 43 S that is pretty nasty, but it's the best version I have (actually, the only one) and it was free! I've only purchased two coins on Ebay...a 1914 S quarter and a 1929 cent. I could easily spend lots of money on the Bay on coins, but I don't have the money to spend, so I don't even look.
well i won it on the 5th and it came today on the 8th!! fast shipping. it came in a normal 44c stamped envelope. it was wrapped up in paper to keep it safe. its also in a cardboard flip! i was not expecting to get it today and also not for it to come in a flip. i was wrong judging there pictures, it is in good shape. it may even be AU! i will get some pictures up in a little so you all can judge it.
