In a roll of nickels, I found a 1999 octogon 20 pence coin. The obverse has Elizabeth II and the following initials: DG REG FD What country minted this coin? thanks.
The above info is correct and the coin is probably only worth 20p, as we still have millions in circulation - sorry!! Keep an eye out for the undated variety. It was a mistake by the Royal Mint in 2008. A new die was used, and the date was missed off. Only a limited number escaped into circulation. They are worth upto $150 each. I have got one, but it is in the bank, so here is a picture of one. http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/wales/south_east/8123749.stm
