i know i've said i won't purchase any more of these, but i can't help it. as a matter of fact, 99% of my collection came from the grab bag auctions. after reading through the description for this auction, and their feedbacks, i think this guy wouldn't be a "scammer". not that i ever really got scammed buying coin grab bags before (i always read through the seller's feedbacks thoroughly). but this auction is different (according to their descriptions). after this purchase, it will be my last (i know... i said that the last 2 times as well :goofer: ). i will be buying 15 bags from him ($500) worth and i will post the results here.

    coin grab bag yay!

i did 2 from this guy. first bag had about $35 worth acording to red book and second was about $85. dont get me wrong it had a ton of wheats but it was fun just the same. if he is still around in a month or so i would buy again.

its like the lotto. you know you wont win big but its fun anyways.

I purchased a couple times from this seller- Wasn't impressed and don't buy grab bags anymore. It better to value a group of coins that you know what your getting so you don't have to convince yourself that the half you got in the grab bag is EF ($16 Redbook) instead of what it really is F($6 Redbook). Just my opinion.

The Red Book isn't a good price guide to go by....the best thing is to use Online auction prices and see how much they went for....sometimes the Red Book is way high.

yeah but even if you were to cut the value in half it would still have paid for itself.

Grab bags are a waste of money...

There are no 'trustworthy' ebay sellers of grab bags. There is no 'chance' you will get a good deal.

If they were trustworthy, they would tell you what you're going to receive for your money, and let the bids follow the value.

They are all scams by scam artists. I do not recommend anyone buy with this method.
