Check out this ebay auction. Looks a little suspicious to me. http://cgi.ebay.com/1885-CC-MORGAN-...354272727QQcategoryZ39465QQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem
Looks to me like he doesn't know how to take pics. The images are blown up and distorted, terribly out of focus and grossly enhanced.
Indeed, In the past that seller has taken sharp and accurate pictures of the coins they offer. Something is amiss... bone
I believe that is where they stamp "copy" on Morgans that are made as novelty items or for ppl who cannot afford the real deal. As for the TPG company, I have never heard of them. Maybe its his own down in his basement. lol.
I couldn't run fast enough to get away from this one! Funny the bad pics only appeared on this coins photos and none of his other auctions. Pretty obvious he's trying to hide something. I have a ton of those generic CoinWorld slabs laying around the house. Maybe I'll start my own "back room" certification company. Seems to be the fad these days.
If you do you are required to submit an example to my reference set, along with information on your location and when the grading service began.
I think he doesn't want you to see the pictures clearly, as the morgans aren't in the condition the holder says they are.
