To each his own. It was having the coin in the original holder that mattered to me. I had no interest at all in any of the others.
The mintage of 1880-cc in David Bower's Morgan book is 125,000 for reverse of 1878, 466,000 for reverse of 1879. So total is just under 600,000 not 125000.
Just goes to show how blind I can be in my old age since the page for the 79 Reverse is opposite the 78 Reverse page. My faux pas! However, my copy of QDB's book states an estimated mintage of 360,000 for the 79 Reverse. From what source did you find the 466,000? I just like to know the sources for the reported mintages in case someone asks me. Thanks for bringing this to my attention. Chris
