That is definetely not money. It's more of a novelty. There are also "million dollar bills" that are also just for fun. If you ever wonder....look on a bill for "not a legal tender"...that means it's not real.

Create a spectacle, people will flock. Sell a spectacle, and people will buy.

There is a market for anything, from singing fish to fake bills.

They make it probably on their computer in mass quantities...People buy them anywhere....ebay...novelty stores....spencers. It's just like any other product.

I bought some million dollar bills because they looked very real. I used them for tips at restaurants...actually got a pretty good reaction. But all other bills I've seen are poorly made. Bill Clinton...Monica Lewinsky....nothing really interesting or funny.

The Clinton and Bush bills I have seen are real $1 bills with a portrait carefully glued over George. Novelty pieces.

I know there is a least one artist who makes "fake" currency with various famous Americans pictured. MLK, RFK, etc. His bills are redisigned and brightly colored. He makes his living by trying to pay for items with them and getting the cashier to give him the balance in change. Some of his bills are now sold in art galleries for thousands of dollars. I might have seen him profiled on "60 Mins."

Yeah...I'm sure they just took it all at once or counted it quickly...I don't remember..I was just shocked when I found out. It looks very real. Half of the people I left a tip for thought it was real. lol
