I found this 1988 US Cent and it has a aggressive die deterioration... Have you ever seen this year with this much die deterioration??? Let me know what you found.. Thanks Rick
I have a few coins like that, various dates. But most if not all are post 1982. It must be from the new metal composition.
They're common enough to be worth face value. But on the other side, their numbers make early die state full strikes worth more in my opinion. But with 11 billion plus coins struck at Denver and Philly that year ....
