    Aethelred II Long Cross Penny.

    Aethelred II Long Cross Penny Minted In London By Aethelweard. The legend on the reverse reads "+EDE LPER DMO LVND".

    It dates 997-1003.

    I thought I'd redo the thread with better pictures.
