morgan dollars and sliders

    Ya know what i came back to take a second look at this coin with fresh eyes. I think we were all wrong at first glance. I think its wizzed but a darn good job of it. Instead of the cartwheel luster folowing the rim all the way around the coin, it seems almost come around in a circular motion up to the chin (like its just slightly "off"). Its extremely light but it almost has a satin finish about it. It also appears to be a good possible cause for those scratches on the neck line. I probably didn't give the best description of what I am talking about but its the best I can do without putting it in your hand lol

    I do not think there is even a remote possibilty that the coin has been whizzed. The flow lines are normal and undisturbed, the luster is normal, everything about the coin looks normal.

    I would say it's a problem free MS63-64.
